First, a huge congratulations to Clayton, DeVries, & Pont for their work on the South Course. It’s a stunning accomplishment on a rare piece of land. While our site is less bold than theirs, it is packed end-to-end with ready to golf contours and bracketed by views to the south of an indescribably dramatic dune ridge and the serene Tiger Head Bay to the North. We have a few ideas about the routing now but expect to make significant changes & improvements to it upon subsequent visits over the coming year. Thank you, Mat, for making our dreams come true. It is not an exaggeration to say that this piece of land must be considered one of the most precious for golf construction the world over.
