“I had the pleasure of working with King-Collins throughout the design and construction of Crossroads GC. From start to finish, the project took 10 months for us to complete and begin playing golf. It was one of the most exciting times in my career to be a part of a course that is so unique to the game of golf. King-Collins design team are true visionaries to route 18 different holes on a 9-hole footprint yet make each hole feel like a big stage. The mark of a good golf course is it is enjoyed and respected by golfers of all skill levels. Crossroads checks that box! The nine-hole daily routing provides for an early morning walk in the park, an emergency nine, a platform to experience a love of golf for the game itself, or for an evening stroll with the family before sunset. Then tomorrow, you can do it all again on a different set of 9 holes. Crossroads GC has been a great complement and addition to the golfing portfolio we have at Palmetto Bluff.”

We were hired by South Street Partners in 2023 to build a golf course at the luxury Lowcountry community, Palmetto Bluff, in South Carolina.

Our team transformed a flat, fifty five (55) acre parcel into a reversible nine hole course, replete with endless shotmaking options and playing strategies. Operationally, the Club alternates daily play between the Hammer and Press routings. With endless teeing grounds, large greens, and several putting surfaces that only come into play every other day, the golf course gives the operations staff the opportunity to ensure that members and their guests never receive the same challenge twice. It is a golf course filled with “easter eggs” that begs players to delight in the exploratory nature of both routings.
